Disappointing stay – no cleaning during 3-night visit
I stayed at Hotel Kyriad Marne la Vallee -Torcy for 3 nights and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The room was not cleaned once during the entire stay. No fresh towels, no made bed, no trash removal – absolutely nothing. When I brought this up at the front desk, I was told that I should have handed in my key for the room to be cleaned. This was never communicated to me at check-in or anywhere in the room information.
I find it unacceptable that a hotel would require guests to request basic cleaning services without making that process clear. For a hotel that promotes itself as comfortable and guest-friendly, this level of service is far below expectations. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to others.

It's an old building, and the rooms and corridors are definitely showing age. However, for its price it's pretty good. It has its upsides and downsides, so here are some of the things I've found:the staff seems to be rather polite, and the room is an "ok" rate of clean. The staff seems to listen to reviews and try to help, seeing as many of the reviews are from a few years ago, and those problems aren't showing up in my current room. The ac works rather well but is really loud on "fan 3" as the speed. The hotel is rather close to a shopping center and is pretty close to the station. There are a few stains here and there, and the walls are starting to yellow, but everything else seems to be ok!

For the price we paid, it's an absolutely perfunctory hotel.
Though the hotel as a whole was somewhat tired, our room was clean, and the aircon, whilst noisy, worked well, despite 32 degree heat.
Soundproofing wasn't bad. Most noise abated around 2300 when families arrived back from late Disney fireworks.
We didn't avail ourselves of breakfast, and school groups seemed to fill the restaurant area at times in the morning.
Instead, we used the cafe at the train station for coffee and pastry. The train station was the major plus point of this hotel for us. A 4 minute walk from the front door of the hotel, giving access to central Paris in just 20 or so minutes. Disneyland is just along the line also, though we didn't visit.
The car park at the rear seemed ample, and whilst it wasn't secure, was very quiet.

Location is great, very close to train station. Staff pleasant enough and the rooms clean. However very basic, 1 pillow per person and the most uncomfortable bed i have ever encountered, rock hard. Did not sleep a wink.

We booked three rooms for one night, somewhere to stay after the long drive from Calais, ready for going to Disneyland Paris early the following day, whilst also allowing us the opportunity for a whistlestop tour of Paris. We arrived early and checked in, dropping off the luggage in their baggage room, returning late that evening to collect the lugggage and go to our rooms. The staff were superb, so helpful, even going to the kitchen late at night to get ice to help keep some food fresh (for our Celiac granddaughter). The rooms were clean and comfortable with much needed air con (it was hot that day). Excellent location for getting the RER direct into Paris and it felt safe walking the few minutes back in the dark.
